Macro sample 277


B-22834/ETH 3395. This sample is a maize cupule recovered from a midden deposit dating to a Cartersville component: AD 660 ± 100 (1290 ± 100), uncorrected (Wood and Bowen 1995:77). We correct this sample using Stuiver and Reimer's formula for fractionation correction ( and a maize d13C value of -10.0 +/- 2. The correction for the sample, 1290 ± 100 bp, is 1535 ± 105 corrected rcybp.
