Information

Maize phytoliths associated with milling stones in Zone B (Piperno and Pearsall 1998). This zone was later AMS-dated with a sample of sediment phytoliths (different from the maize phytoliths associated with the tools)(Piperno et al. 2000) -- see starch grain sample associated with this date.
