Nine maize starch grains were identified from a flaked stone wedge or chopper found in Unit C at this site and six starch grains were associated with another stone wedge in Unit A. I-2019 is the youngest of three radiocarbon dates associated with this site (the other two are I-2017 and I-2018) and the thinness of this open air deposit (10-25 cm below surface) suggests that any of these dates could be associated with these tools. See sample I-2018 for the oldest of the three dates that bracket the occupation.
