R.G. Matson (personal communication to M.Blake) notes that archaeologist Patrick Hogan, one of the site's excavators, mentioned in an email to him that a total of five direct dates on maize were obtained and they ranged from 3055 to 3125 uncalBP. The one reported here is the oldest of these.
