This is a Yaya-Mama tradition settlement located on the northeastern shore of the Copacabana Peninsula in Lake Titicaca. Survey of the peninsula and excavations at this site by Karen and Sergio Chavéz (Chavéz and Thompson 2006) have recovered many pieces of ceramics that have maize phytoliths embedded in their residues. (Map location approximate).
