Washington Square (41NA49)


"The Washington Square Mound site (41NA49) is a Middle Caddoan period mound complex located in the city of Nacogdoches in Nacogdoches County, Texas. The site is located on an interfluve between two streams, La Nana and Banita creeks, in one of the oldest residential districts of the city" (Corbin and Hart 1998).
